1. What is your definition of success?

For me, it’s being able to take a leap of faith with that one thing you are passionate about and making it a huge success despite the challenges and hurdles. This applies both in my personal and professional life. Today, when my sister and I take a step back to observe what we’ve built with 2.Oh!, when we see the trust and joy our products bring to our consumers, when we see repeat orders coming in, we know that we have tasted success!

2. What was your inspiration behind starting 2.Oh!, a science-first hair products company?

Our love for hair, beauty and fashion and our sharp business acumen that comes from belonging to a business family inspired us to launch a range of innovative haircare products made from pure, new, science-backed ingredients and cutting-edge technology. We really wanted to close the gap we saw in the Indian haircare market and offer for the first time to Indian consumers international quality, fun products that are crafted in Italy and created specifically for Indian hair. My sister and I were raring to start a business together and merge our two very distinct skillsets and professional backgrounds. 2.Oh! is a culmination of all our haircare dreams because we believe that hair plays a significant role in defining how people feel about themselves. Hair allows us to express our personalities in creative ways and we want consumers to have fun with and experiment with our semi-permanent colors and other hair products.

3. Could you provide insight into the ingredients for your hair products and their associated benefits?

All 2.Oh! products reflect science-backed innovation and top international quality. The micro-pure pigment technology we use in our semi-permanent hair color gives vibrant, long-lasting results that leaves no undesirable brassy effect. Our bleaching Lightning Kit minimizes hair damage with hair bond protecting Plex 2.Oh!, blue bleach and Argan oil. No nourish and deeply moisturise colored hair, we harness the power of Argan Oil and Sunflower Seed extracts that make the hair soft and give it a lustrous shine. Our anti-yellow shampoo tackles both yellow and orange undertones common in bleached hair with its blue-violet micro pure pigments balanced with Argan oil. The ingredients we use are very expensive because of their quality. So, as you can tell, there is no compromise when it comes to 2.Oh! products.

4. What are your thoughts on work/life balance?

When you are passionate about what you do, work doesn’t seem cumbersome. You enjoy the process and therefore, keep stress at bay. For both me and my Sister  and Co founder Roohi working is fun! Having said that, one should always take a break from a daily routine to exercise, enjoy different hobbies and hang out with family and friends, down things that make you happy. Travel and just taking time off from work is our way of recharging and getting ready to put in our best.

5. What advice would you give to someone starting their own journey to success?

When you start anything new, you are bound to hit many speed breakers and roadblocks. These challenges don’t seem like a big deal, however, if you are doing something you love and are passionate about. Even then, the more one is flexible and willing to change and adapt, the kinder the environment seems around you. Its also very important to have a really good strong supportive team working with you.

6. Who is your Perfect Woman?

My perfect woman embodies fearlessness – unafraid to dream, to strive for those dreams, to voice her thoughts when necessary, and to uphold the principles she believes in. She embraces her roles as daughter, sister, wife, and mother, but above all, she values being true to herself. She exudes love and possesses qualities that make her worthy of admiration by the world.

7. Any Messages for Readers?

Life is too short to hold regrets. Just strive to be the best version of yourself and always remember to have fun along the way!
