Your Journey so Far:

I come from a small town – Pachora, Dist. Jalgaon in Maharashtra and I am now settled in Mumbai post my marriage. It has been a bumpy ride since early days and life has always been a struggle especially when achieving any key milestones. With struggle – I mean moving to big cities for further education and exploring the outside world on my own to create name and fame in the ocean out there. Also, staying away from family for almost more than 8 years and achieving goals has been a challenging journey but the best part is this has made me completely independent and broaden my horizon towards things and people. When I look back at the little me going to school and now being a responsible doctor, the journey has been challenging yet quite an exciting one

What do you like most about your profession??

The best part about my profession is to deliver smile on my patient’s face which is the most satisfying feeling and gives me utmost happiness. When I relieve my patients of their pain and restore normal functioning as well as provide better aesthetic looks, it makes all my efforts worthwhile and feel good to contribute back to society. The utmost duty of a doctor in serving mankind makes my profession the best for me always.

Challenges in life

Life has never been a bed of roses for me and i feel it is something which has made the best come out of me everytime. At every step, life has put some or other challenge in front of me be it in the form of competitive exams during graduation and post graduation or professional work. Also apart from that, life has its phases. My life has changed a lot post marriage and I am sure it does for every woman out there. Being married into a joint family has its benefits and challenges. It is important to be available for your family and manage your profession as well. Also, being into the noble profession, you come across all kind of patients and you have to deal patiently with everyone. In this world of competition, you have to stand out as well making sure ethics are not compromised. In short, my life has been full of challenges and I accept every challenge as an opportunity for me to learn, grow and make the best of it.

How do you manage work and life??

They say mothers are and they will always be your first teacher. This quality of mine is inherited from my mother. My mother used to take English Coaching Classes for kids from nursery till 12th grade. I have seen her striving day in and out and managing household chores and her kids and also giving the best of knowledge to her coaching kids as well. As a person i believe that profession and family go hand in hand and neither should be compromised at the cost of another. To be honest, it is easier said than done but once you develop and inculcate that, you will be available for your family and your profession always. One deciding factor I believe is situation which demands your presence be it family or profession. So my dear friends – work and life go hand in hand & will swing in both directions. So just go with the flow and things will look much more simpler to handle.

Your Wish for Perfect Woman Magazine

Ideally perfection is a myth. Nobody is perfect and which I feel is the best because life gives you lessons and learnings in all phases. As far as a perfect woman is considered, I believe that all women out there be professionals or homemakers are the best versions of themselves because a woman plays & manages all the roles in life perfectly…be it a daughter, mother, wife, mother in law, sister, etc and tries to hold on each and every thing together. Women have the inherited quality of being patient and adapts to all situations quickly. I believe that they are strong enough to even handle the worst and get the best out of it. If I have to mention a wish for a perfect woman, I would just say to all the beautiful ladies that just be yourself and I am sure you will make the best of everything.
