Hotstar Specials’ show Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama has finally culminated in the grand finale with the gorgeous fairytale wedding we were all waiting for! In the latest and final episode of the show, we see Hansika and Sohael fulfil their dreams with a wedding that was unique, fun, emotional and everything they ever wanted. The marriage of Hansika Motwani and Sohael Kathuriya is one of India’s most talked-about celebrity weddings. The show lives up to its promise of wholesome drama and stunning disclosures about their past. All episodes are now available for viewing only on Disney+ Hotstar!

In the final episode, we see Hansika and Sohael attend all of the ceremonies – mehendi, sangeet, haldi, and ultimately, the shaadi we have all been waiting for! Each one was special in its own way, with Sohael surprising Hansika with a dance at the polo-mehendi event, and Hansika’s mother dancing especially for her daughter at the sangeet. Hansika’s wedding attire also came together wonderfully, making the day even more special for her. 

Hansika said about her wedding-day look, “The wedding lehenga turned out to be exactly how I wanted it to be. It was perfectly made, the perfect red, the embroidery, everything was just perfect.” Reminiscing further, she said, “I didn’t want to do a bun and all of that, I wanted a lovely choti, I wanted the parandi, I just wanted it to look real. I didn’t want to look filmy.” 

Throughout the series, we have seen the many hurdles Hansika and Sohael have faced in the planning of their wedding, but in the end, love prevailed. The wedding ceremony itself was sentimental, and the bidai even more. Hansika’s mother broke down in tears and the tight-knit Motwani family gave each other a big group hug. It really was a moving scene. With that, Hansika stepped into a new chapter in her life, the one which every girl dreams of since childhood.
