Actress Simaran Kaur says that it is important to take a break and travel as it helps give one perspective. She adds that she tries to take multiple vacations in a year to rejuvenate herself “I agree that it is difficult to find time for vacation but I believe it is necessary to take at least 2 vacations a year. It is the much-needed break to re-energize, gain a fresh perspective, relax and destress ourselves. Vacation is the time to appreciate the beauty of the world and, in my opinion, what is the point of working so hard if you can’t take a break and enjoy yourself,” she says.

Talking about her last vacation, she says, “Last year, I went to Goa with my friends and family for almost a week. It was my birthday and it was really special. We went to the beach, we had a lot of fun while doing water sports, we stayed at an amazing property, the food was amazing. I embraced the Susegad Spirit and let my hair loose.”

She adds, “Last year, I went to a hill station for 3 days and it was a much needed break. The hills were so beautiful and the place we stayed was also amazing…”

She says that she would love to take a solo trip as well. “I have not travelled solo but someday I would love to do so, I guess a solo journey is important to discover oneself. Talking about my dream destinations, one is Vienna, Austria. It is just breathtakingly beautiful, the city is wonderful, the architecture is marvellous, it is laid back yet serene…The second is Gulmarg Kashmir… I have been to Kashmir twice. It is still my favourite holiday destination in the world, the snow-capped mountains, the beautiful chinar trees, the lakes. It really is heaven on earth,” she says.
