Simran Kaur was last seen in the TV show Agar Tum Na Hote. After that she has been a part of many projects and currently she is doing a travel show called India’s Best Resorts. The actress talks about her future plans, competition in the industry and the impact of social media in getting work today.

“It was a wonderful experience if you weren’t there. I really enjoyed working with a wonderful team. Since then I have been busy with different projects. I wanted to try something new and thank god I got some great opportunities. I got the opportunity to anchor my first live sports show with VIVO Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 for Star Sports. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed it. I also did three music videos, one of which has been released and is getting a lot of love from the audience. The other two will be released soon. I also did my first travel show as a host with Zeezest and ZEE5 which is currently on air,” she says.

When asked why she is not taking up any daily soap, Simran says, “I am trying to connect with a different set of audience, adding more and more people to my fan base. The idea is to broaden my horizons as a creative person by performing on various channels and in various non-fiction shows. I always challenge myself and want to be a versatile artist. As far as daily soaps are concerned, I am looking for the right role. Talks are going on.

It is often said that daily soaps are very demanding, to which Simran says, “It has a long shooting schedule and it is always challenging to do different scenes in different locations in a short amount of time. The amount of love and appreciation you get is immense. I really enjoy working in daily soaps. There are so many great shows currently on-air.”

There is a lot of competition in the industry. “I really don’t believe that it is necessary to be part of a controversy to be popular. And by working hard, improving acting skills, winning the hearts of the audience and a touch of luck, one can get ahead in the competition. Controversy is not necessary Are.’

Simran’s Hindi diction is good and commendable. “I have a good command over both Hindi and English. The clarity in voice and good Hindi diction have really helped me and made it easier to convey emotions during scenes. All the directors I have worked with appreciate my dialogue delivery and acting skills.”

In today’s digital age, social media following often helps people get work. To this Simran says, “I think it is important that actors have a good following on social media because social media is the bridge that connects an actor and the audience. We can directly talk to the fans and they are more than happy to talk to their favorite actors and know about their life updates.
