A dream shaadi, lots of love and loads of drama – Catch Hansika Motwani’s wedding on Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama, exclusively streaming on Disney+ Hotstar

Hotstar Specials show Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama is off to an excellent start, as the first episode dropped today on Disney+ Hotstar. Giving viewers a much-anticipated glimpse into all that goes on behind the scenes in the lead-up to one of India’s most talked about celebrity weddings, Hansika Motwani and Sohael Kathuriya share their wedding journey with her beloved fans across the world. Hansika and Sohael discuss the controversies and scrutiny surrounding their marriage, as well as Sohael’s first marriage, as she gives a deeper look at her wedding preparations. The show delivers on its promise of wholesome drama in the lead-up to the spectacular wedding at Jaipur’s Mundota Fort and Palace. In the very first episode itself, Hansika and Sohael are seen tackling the immense pressure that the media put on their wedding in the midst of preparing for the main event. 

The show begins with Hansika discussing the stress of having news of her wedding out in the media. She says to the camera, “I wanted to keep everything about the marriage very secretive. I didn’t want everything out so abruptly in front of the media without my knowledge. This is the price I pay being a celebrity.” Speaking about the uncertainty that the media brought up, she says to her friends, “Once I’m married and once things are official then it’s okay to be up there in the public.” Later on in the episode, Hansika adds, “Me getting married, that anxiety didn’t hit me. But this news coming out, the way the news was coming out, my anxiety level was above the levels that I could manage.”
