Tula behera, a 70-year-old woman, who has begged for the last 40 years donated 1L, which is nearly all of her lifetime savings, to Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Phulbani. She urged the temple managing committee to utilise the money for the temple’s renovation. Tula said she didn’t need money as she’s old and has surrendered herself before Lord Jagannath.
