The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Western Railway’s Mumbai division arrested 13,061 men for travelling illegally in coaches reserved for women between January 2022 and December 15, 2022. The police also collected <37.68 lakh fine from those offenders. On average daily 30 to 35 men are being caught by RPF for travelling in ladies’ coaches, a WR officer said.
