Hrishi drops his first original video “Paul McCartney (Superstar)” after his Carnatic version of ‘Shape of You’ by Ed Sheeran  receives immense love from audiences worldwide

Hrishi is a current Instagram obsession. The Indian-American artist has trained in Carnatic music, and achieved fame after his carnatic rendition version of ‘Shape of You’ by Ed Sheeran. From Dua Lipa‘s ‘Levitating’ to The Weeknd‘s ‘Blinding Lights’, the singer gives his touch to popular songs, and we’re all here for it!

After much anticipation and wait, Hrishi has released his first original video called ‘Paul McCartney (Superstar)’. The video inspired by the well-known Paul McCartney, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar, Hrishi takes to Instagram to thank the artists for being the figures they are. The singer expresses his joy as he drops the details of the video, leaving everyone on the gram in utter disbelief. He specifies that it was “filmed in the coldest of cold months in Kansas City in February 2020”, highlighting the handwork and dedication put into this video.

We see the artist in several outfits looking absolutely ravishing throughout the 2 minutes 55 seconds video. It’s no shock that we were obsessed with his voice and talent but now, he leaves us in awe of his acting too!

Talking about the same in an exclusive conversation with us he said, “This project represents so many firsts for me as an artist – it was the first original song i ever released and now it’s my first full music video as well. So many new friendships and relationships were made in the process and I’m so proud of everyone that worked on it. The song is about me realizing that it’s not necessary to always compare yourself with others and feel like you’re less. We are made complete and are worthy of love just the way we are, and this song is my way of expressing that to myself and to my fans”.

The original video released a few a days ago but we can’t stop watching it on loop already. Gripping, aesthetic, and original, the video checks all the boxes for fabulous. Head to Youtube to watch the video and be star-struck with us!
