Shatrughan Sinha revealed that his daughter, Sonakshi Sinha, has not discussed her wedding plans with him and his wife, Poonam Sinha. | PERFECT WOMAN MAGAZINE

Shatrughan expressed despair about being out of the loop about his daughter’s big life decision. He shared that he is being asked by people close to him why he is not aware of her wedding plans, while the media seems to know more about her big day. “All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain. We are waiting to be informed.”

Shatrughan also said that he trusts his daughter’s judgement completely and is convinced that “she would never make an extra-constitutional or illegal decision.” He said, “As a consenting adult, she has the right to make her own decisions.” he told Zoom.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi will reportedly be tying the knot with boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23 in Mumbai.
